G4Derm™ Plus

Powered by Self-Assembling Peptides (SAP) to revitalize complex wounds

G4Derm™ Plus is a fully synthetic resorbable biomimetic matrix (BMM™) designed to support wound closure in complex, hard-to-heal wounds by promoting rapid granulation tissue formation. The synthetic peptides in G4Derm™ Plus self-assemble to create an extracellular matrix (ECM)-like scaffold that facilitates tissue regrowth and revascularization, while also offering broad-spectrum antibacterial protection. G4Derm™ Plus creates an optimal healing environment for complex and chronic wounds, and represents a significant advancement in wound care, offering numerous benefits as it promotes effective wound stabilization and progression toward closure, directly improving patient outcomes.

  • Full-wound bed coverage, contours to the shape of the wound bed, and gradually integrates into host tissue to encourage regrowth and revascularization.1
  • Granulation tissue formation within just 1-2 applications, even in deep wounds with exposed structures, such as tendon and bone.*2-4
  • 2x faster wound closure rates compared to advanced biologics in diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs).2*
  • Strong broad-spectrum antibacterial protection against MDROs to manage bioburden5 and prevent biofilm reformation,6-7 without causing local tissue toxicity.
  • Ready-to-use prefilled syringe eliminates the need for mixing or reconstitution, enabling seamless dispensing into wound bed with a flexible applicator tip for precise delivery.
  • Fully synthetic, shelf stable at room temperature for 3 years.8
  • 510(k) clearance #K222025: synthetic wound matrix for the local management of partial and full-thickness wounds (e.g., DFU, VLU, pressure ulcers, first-degree and second-degree burns).

Biomimetic Matrix (BMM) Promotes Tissue Regrowth

G4Derm™ Plus self-assembling peptides form a 3D scaffold with a porous, fibrillar structure that mimics the extracellular matrix (ECM). The G4Derm™ Plus Biomimetic Matrix (BMM™) creates an environment that supports wound healing by facilitating cell migration, attachment, and proliferation. G4Derm™ Plus is completely bioresorbable, gradually integrating into the wound bed to encourage tissue regrowth and revascularization. It can be reapplied during dressing changes as needed to support the healing process.

Inherent Antibacterial Protection

G4Derm™ Plus contains cationic peptides that form an effective antibacterial barrier by interacting with and destabilizing bacterial membranes. This innovative mechanism of physical membrane disruption overcomes local and systemic tissue toxicity, as well as minimizing the risk of antimicrobial resistance, often associated with the use of antibiotics and antimicrobial agents. This inherent antibacterial protection helps manage bioburden5 and prevent biofilm reformation6 while maintaining an environment conducive to wound healing.
